Emotional Support for Tweens and Teens
Happy & Healthy Relationships
Have you noticed that you are now starting to care about things that didn’t use to matter to you? Like your appearance, what others think of you, whether you fit in, dating, peer-pressure, puberty, anxiety, and depression. It’s a lot!
Relationships are hard too. Even your best friendships get shaky. You want a great social life, but sometimes you wonder if fitting in is worth it. Maybe you feel left out or less worthy than peers deemed prettier, skinnier, smarter, more athletic, or more popular.
These issues cause big emotions, huh? Sometimes you feel fine, and then boom, you’re suddenly hit with sadness, anger, frustration, annoyance, or even numbness. Maybe your grades are suffering, you’re staying at home more, or you are starting to feel bad about yourself.
In therapy, I’ll help you gain a positive attitude toward life and relationships - no more holding back and missing experiences. No more doing things that you don’t want to do, just to fit in. I’ll help you gain the skills to have happy and healthy relationships both now and in the future.
